Hi TheBull,I know I dont have to tell you but, thats three different programs and Winrar,I think what you are doing now by redownloading is your best bet, this happened to me before, and I did what you are doing, redownloading, but I was sorry I didn't get rid of the first bad downloaded file, off the PC,because when the fresh one came in, I think it mated with the first one, and it was another disaster,so a bit of advice DELETE the first one, hope you get sorted soon, best of luck with the new one.

Hi, TheBull,Why are you burning it. Use WINRAR to open the files ,and then install it with the setup.exe file?
That's useful jfar thanks. So if unpacked iso on disk D and Windows 7 on C just run setup.exe and replace old os version?

Thanks jfar! The first 1 I downloaded on my 64bit partition, and the current one on my 32bit partition, so I don't think they should be able to mate! Cross partition breeding not allowed in this house!! LOL

you must be on a 32X system in order to burn the file . If your in a windows 64X maybe a problem. burn slow using imgburn for instance

    Yup.

Use Imgburn and burn at 1x speed, works everytime for me anyway :)

I've now started running the installations of Windows 7 from my external HD, faster and saves burning to disks all the time, works for USB drives also.

This is the guide I used:

If you haven't already you can open up the program you used to download it. Mine is µtorrent and if the file is still listed then you can right click the entry then select 'Force Recheck'. This will force the program to check that all of the pieces of the torrent were downloaded. If 1 piece is missing then it will show as corrupt & quite rightly so. Only other option is to get it from small nova.
