Can not save files. Please help

    You did not try to access CMD correctly. Try this.

    Once you get the CMD type sfc /scannow.

    It says you must be an admin running a console session in order to use the SFC utility. I'm guessing this is my whole problem?

    I fixed this problem. I wanted to give an update. I reinstalled with an upgrade and it fixed everything. Thanks for all the help

    Which is why requested some more than once with a link to a guide on how to take them, which may or may not have highlighted something you had missed, and saved you having to reinstall.

    But as the issue is resolved it's irrelevant now.
