    Delete a system partition

I have two drives. C: has the system and programs. D: is for data but also has a 100Mb partition that is something to do with the system. I'd like to get rid of it without reinstalling the system.

I had a hard drive die and somewhere in the process I did a repair and that's where, I think, the partition was created. In the Windows 7 install process it says this partition can't be changed.

That's probably where the boot files were put when you installed/repaired Windows 7, if so and you delete it W 7 won't boot.

Leave it alone. Nothing to be gained from 100MB and you risk to compromise your system.
