    I have a question

    H,
Does anyone know how to get free support for windows 7? As far as i see it, microsoft is a massive screw up, they cant even give you an email adress unless you pay for it. I have purchesed a windows 7 upgrade pack, i have had to reinstall Vista 5 times because it is a crap piece of technology. Microsoft have failed.....again. I am now so pissed, im looking for a refund and im switchig to Mac.
So, in a nutshell, does anyone know a free, official tech support email?
    Thanks,
    Hamish

Here's something for you, though I think you already know these options. Bottom left you find a 'Need more help?' link.

May I ask why are you re-installing Vista if you want to install Win7? Even if you have an upgrade edition, you can do a clean, custom install without having Vista installed. If this is what you are trying, read this tutorial.

If you are trying to do an in-place upgrade, read this.

    Hi Hamish,

You said that you reinstalled Vista 5 times? Is that so that you could upgrade W7 over it? Have you tried clean-installing W7? This IS possible from an upgrade version - see Clean Install with a Upgrade Windows 7 Version

Many problems can be eliminated by performing a clean installation, rather than an upgrade over an existing OS.
