    I need tweeking prevention help


    ok. SO im a big windows 7 tweaker. but i gotta stop. iv already bought a new laptop. uninstalled OS systems and Re-installed OS systems downloaded a OS system illeagally once a year ago because i broke it. so is there anything i can do to just stop!

    Damn! in the time i posted this and awaited a reply i...i.... installed a new theme! and background and and... i cant do it! i just cant stop tweking!..

    It might be a good idea to create a system restore point, before you get your tweakers out :)

    Seriously, this is not a cure, but at least it makes tweaking a bit harder: use a standard user account. It does not prevent you tweaking but every time you modify something, you have to give admin credentials and that reminds you about the reason you are using a standard account.

    I'm using this method. It gives me an extra step to think if what I'm doing is really necessary, an additional 'Are you sure?' question.

    Here's a good tutorial to use and you can get your tweek on at the same time.

    System Restore Point : Create at System Startup
