'Cause she's paranoid about letting anyone besides my dad on her laptop.
But maybe if I ask her real nice, and I would get the laptop, I'd have to search my bro's room for a empty disc.

EDIT :: My brother has no empty DvD's, only Empty CD's.

Edit 2 : Is there no way I can make my external HDD bootable?
I installed build 7000 Beta the way I tried, by running the setup.exe

Ask her nicely and she could supervise.

Other than a dvd you could try a 4gb flash drive.

    Don't have a 4GB Flash drive, nor do I have DvD's.

Yes except that Daemon tools is incompatible with windows 7 although there may be a release imminent of a 7 compatible version, but not the free one at the moments AFAIK
