our toshiba laptop comes with a toshiba-branded "Recovery Media Creator". I passed on your caution to my friend, who owns the laptop. (I'm assuming here that Toshiba's "Recovery Media Creator" is based on Win7's backup program). My friend asked me to proceed with using the Toshiba program. Here goes. Hope it works when the friend needs it.

The title pretty much sums it up, my system has 32GB of RAM, but slows down terribly once it gets to about 19GB used. Windows 7 x64. Not sure what other info to include... Thank you.
