Hi smarty,
The joys of self build.
I'm sure all will come right in the end
And it's a great feeling when it does - soo much better that just picking up a working system from the store![]()

I'm in the (slow) process of deciding what I need in my next PC, which will only be the 2nd I've ever owned. My current, heavily modified and improved one is 7 years old and I think I'm going to have to make the leap from a hyperthreaded Pentium 4 to at least a quad-core.
All my friends tell me that I should build my own, but it is so convenient to have someone else do that....LOL.
Not to mention that at my age, I really like things to be ready-to-go.
I have the same problem with Vista. It needs reactivation everytime I go back. So I just reactivate and reboot. A couple mins of pain, however if I just need to get something real quick, I won't reactivate.
Interesting. I have Vista x64 MAK installed as the default OS and W7 installed on a separate HD that I used my Vista RC1 key for. Neither are complaining about activation, and both show the (respective) OS as activated....
