Aero peek not working

When I right click on the taskbar>properties> The Aero checkbox is grayed out and has a gray x in it but won't change.

Hello 546 Inspiron,

You might see if you may be able to turn on Aero Peek using one of the other methods in the tutorial below instead. Double check to make sure that everything checks out ok in the red warning box at the top as well.
