richc46, FZ21Z,
I took a look, richc46, at your link Laptop Recovery Instructions - Tech Support Forum THANK YOU VERY MUCH !
Help from TriggerFinger(Win7 forum member)for how to create a copy of the Recovery files from hard-to a CD/DVD is given in manufacturer pdfs for almost each of all laptops- sais (for Toshiba)that in Start-All Programs I can find Hard Disk Recovery Utilities- and use this to view and select the software I have to copy but in my Win7 on my TOSHIBA this option does NOT exist...Should I use "Create a system image" as jcgiff2 (if I remember well)FORUM MEMBER indicates in a location on this Forum instead? Is it the same thing? Do I obtain the same result ?
I took a look on my disk management and on C: I have one folder only of approx 10 MB (it is called Windows and it has 11.5 MB) and the HIDDEN occupied space on C: is 18 GB...So, disk management did not tell me too much..PLEASE, HELP ME MORE..What should I do to make that copy of the pre-installed software from the hard disk drive on a CD...?? First of all WHICH is the stuff I have to copy and HOW do I identify it...? I do not think I have to restore first the Operating System (again -as I have it already installed now)-the copy I have to make is indicated to be done in the Warrany booklet even before I do averything else with my laptop-so I did not connect yet even to the Internet...and without Internet no other operations such as registration of purchasing can be done..(!) PLEASE HELP AGAIN, MORE...! THANK YOU

richc46, I am not tempted to do this, my seller installed the pre-installed Win7 on64bits and when I asked about how I can copy the Recovery feature from hard and mentioned him about the option "repair" with F8-he said not to do that....Please also read my long rcent post, I think you will understand better what I want and know if what you say here is the real solution (but I think it's not...)...THANK YOU

richc46, I cannot give you rep again, but thanks till now. I read your indications. I found that a copy of the Recovery files from hard-to a CD/DVD for Toshiba could be made with Hard Disk Recovery Utilities-from All Programs (it is written in the manufacturer pdfs). But I do not have this in Win7 on my computer anywhere. The problem is still unsolved. What can I do, please ?
