Windows-7-64bits -restoring the pre-installed software

There are 3 options to restore (on the laptop) the pre-installed software (Win7-64bits) :
-from the created Recovery Discs (made when the Operating System was installed);
-from the Recovery hard disk drive;
-ordering Recovery Discs from the laptop's producer/manufacturer.
I would like to know HOW can I recover the Windows 7 from the Recovery hard disk drive; in the warranty booklet it is mentioned that before anything else (before any other operation) , if my laptop came WITH the system recovery option (how can I check this?), I must first copy the pre-installed feature from my hard disk on a CD or on a DVD and keep it safely. But there is no mention anywhere HOW can we make this copy ...I found also something about this in the help section, but NOT HOW to make the copy of this feature (a file or a group of files).
CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME...? THANK YOU

Welcome

Possibly this will help. If your laptop is not included on the list, the instructions will be in your manual. It is restoring factrory specs. Your computer will be returned to the state it was in when you opened the box.

Hi Sharrysse and welcome to Windows 7 Forums

What is the make and full model number of the laptop? This should be found on a sticker underneath.

Hi.

You should be able to check that by looking at your disk management, as there will be a recovery partition ranging from 10GB onwards.

It can be copied, but it's accessed through the recovery disc. Do you need to recover your system?

FZ21Z, I do not know yet if I need ...It seems to be ok...However, the shortcut to register my Win7 IS CALLED Vista and at the printer driver location I see XP...Also, I am not so experienced to try a recovery, but I need to copy those files from the hard disk not from the recovery disk created at installing the Win7...
I need to copy tHose files to keep them on a CD or on a DVD. This is mentioned to be done in the warranty booklet.
You say that for THIS copy I need to use the recovery CD created at the installation of the Operating system-or you refer to something else..?
Richard,
How do I make the backup...? Do you refer to the RECOVERY CD made when installing the Win7 or to what else ?
NOW I HAVE TO GO AGAIN, TALK SOON, FREINDS...!

If you are going to install Windows 7, when satisified with the performance you have the built in capablity of making a system image (an image of the hard drive). Make that image on a separate hard drive. When you make the image, you will be given the option of making a recovery DVDk take the option. Put the recovery DVD and system image in a safe place. Update the image once or twice a month, depending upon how often you make changes to your Drive. In the event of any problem, even a hard drive failure, you will not have much of a problem, you have everything that you need. to get back to business.

If you should ever want to make a recovery DVD, and not a system image, here are good instructions.
