    Thank you, most thoughtful. i did in fact create a disc as the first task after connecting up my new PC but have taken the opportunity of creating a second as backup. If I have two the chances of needing to use one will probably get less.

    Just to finish this (from my side) I have now the professional E .. If I install a Ultimate ... will it upgrade ?? or will be a new installation .. ?? I mean .. Will I to reinstall everything ?

    Unless you have a specific need for the Ultimate version, I would stick with the professional version... otherwise you should be able to upgrade, though i dont recommend it ... do a clean install...
