    Notification area - wrong icons

    Hi Guys,

I looked into the Notification Area (pressed Customize...)
    and found few weird things:

    - it shows several programs that were uninstalled;
    - some icons are wrong (belonging to other programs)
    - some captions are incorrect

Example: the Security Centre has "power icon"
and the sign is: "scanning cookies 100%"

Is there a way to fix/refresh that?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello BabaYaga,

Resetting the notification area icons may be able to fix this for you.

    Hope this helps,

    Hi Guys,

    Thank you for replies

I used the advice by Brink just because it sounded "closer" to the problem I encountered since it was just the "Notification Area" went bananas
    ... and it worked perfectly

Probably the "resetting all icons cache" as seekermeister

suggested would do the trick too but it seemed to be for solving more "global" issues (I used the similar for XP in the past)

Both links saved into the local KB
    Cheers!
