    Search libraries for multiple file types? How?

    Hello All::
    <I've spent an hour trying to figure this out; time to post!>
    Is there a way to search a Win 7 Library for multiple file types?
    For example: How about searching a Documents Library, and having
    the search contain all the .doc files + .txt files + .pdf files?
    And have the search results contain no other file extensions !
    TIA for your time and energy!

    It worked!!! Thanks a ton for the help [:-D
    [And after trying your suggestion, I tried " type:=.pdf OR type:=.txt OR type:=.doc ". Still good.]

    Now that you got this one, try that on e.g. C: kind:music OR kindictures - have fun.
    PS: This is supposed to read "ictures", but I cannot get rid of this bugger.

    HELP: How can one make a proper post without being terrorized by those pakmen.

    I've not found any other solution than put that inside code tags:
    Code:
    kind:music OR kind:pictures

    Thanks Ted for the tip. I've not known how to do that, other than that code tag thing.
