Problem Booting Win7

So I had a dual boot with XP and Win7 going. I just reinstalled XP onto the existing XP partition, so the Win7 one is still there. But now, my computer immediately boots into XP and skips the bootscreen. I'm assuming this is because my fresh install of XP overwrote the boot.ini file which makes the PC think that there is only 1 OS installed, when in fact, there are two. I googled and ran accross this post (Windows 7 boot.ini file - Windows 7 Forums) and it is the exact problem I am having. The only thing here is that I don't know how (as seen in the fifth post of that link) he got into Win7 to install EasyBCD. Can anyone tell me exactly how to get the bootmenu back?

Ok, did that. It booted me straight into Win7, still skipping the bootmenu. I'll reboot and see if it gives me the option.

EDIT: Ok, it's now force-booting me into Win7 just like was before, only with XP.

EDIT2: Well I guess that's what I wanted...

I didn't even know I solved the problem. For anyone with the same problem:

1 - Boot from your Win7 DVD.
2 - After the files have loaded, hit next, and click repair (something or other) in the bottom left of the window.
3 - It will check for errors. NOTE: If you force shut-off your computer (hard-reset, holding down the power button until it turns off) for whatever reason, the repair thing will think that is your problem and not fix what you need to be fixed. Make sure that you properly shut down your computer before you boot into the CD.
4 - Make sure your Win7 OS is picked, and hit next. Click the top option. It will check, find problems, and finish. Hit OK and it will reboot.
5 - It will now boot into ONLY Win7.
6 - Download EasyBCD at http://neosmart.net/downloads/softwa...CD%201.7.2.exe
7 - Run it, click add/remove entries at the left, and click the XP tab then click add. Viola!
