I may not have used *every* single build, but thus far, 7068 has been hte most stable and 7077 has the best resource management.

+ 1 for 7077 having the best Resource Management....I have an up time of 5 days on this build and as I am sitting here typing away with Outlook 2007 open and 3 tabs up on FF I am using 780 meg of ram.

having played with every version after 7000 was released so far, i'm content with 7068 for now, even if it doesn't let me access the main properties for a wireless connection setup. (admin access, can't create a new wifi profile cause it can't get access to the properties... what? shame on you ms =P all i want to do is save my wifi password!)

I have to agree on some aspects with the author. the only builds I have used so far are 7000, 7068, and 7077. I had majour problems with 7068 and I was shocked to see a blue screen. not to mention all the hard reboots i had to do. 7077 is the best so far but i haven't pushed it like i did with 7000. i think build 7000 had many bugs but to me they were all miner (besides mp3) all other builds had less bugs but i would consider them to be a lot more drastic. But these are pre release buids so experience does change from user to user i gess its the luck of the draw. But 7000 seemed to have the most consistent expeience across all users.

OP, will you still think 7000 is the best in August?

I'll still be using 7077 (which blows 7000 in the weeds BTW) 10 months from now.

Build 7077 is going strong, and running fantastically on my desktop. Not one error or bad shutdown or restart. I had a sleep error with 7000. I also like the content that came with 7077.

I was running build 7000 before jumping to 7068, and it's been nothing but fantastic. Not sure if there's any real difference between 7068 and 7077 though.

didnt read anything but first post... but you must be drunk (and not me). Anyone thinkign build 7000 is still valid for any kind of stability or testing...

It works for you? good for you i bet you can stay on it till windows8 (NOT!)

There are still windows updates for 7000 this time ie8 update, didnt see this for xp or vista only 7.

Used every build so far available and have to agree with the majority here, 7077 has been the best for me. It is the only version so far that the networking has worked almost correctly for me. Still have the odd glitch with permissions but hardly a problem now really and streaming works as it should now.
Hell remote works everytime I reboot now so unlike other versions had to re-setup everytime and re-join network all ok now.

Hell I would almost be happy if this was the final release version, appart from the obvious debuging code to be removed.

Hell bring on RC1

Anyway shouldn't we close this silly thread now as come on anyone who says 7000 is best really is just out to see how big there thread can get with arguments, there just really is no argument.
