Unfortunately for a Pc that is infected with Malware the exec files are corrupted so its not possible to use msconfig etc. So how do we get to Advance Boot Options?
The whole purpose of booting in safe mode to prevent the malware doing any further damage, so why is it so hard to enter Safe Mode before getting to the Windows splash screen?
Any help appreciated. It appears that something known as Live Security Platinum has taken control of my PC
Thanks,
K
With unbootable Win7 you must often work in Safe Mode until it is disinfected and repaired enough to start. This includes repairing System files and repairing the boot.
