1) In your Music folder change view to "Tiles". Close explorer window and then try to open the folder again.
2) IDK, what format these music files are. Try deleting them from within the application that plays them E.g. itunes or whatever.
Hmmm, why would folder view be a varialbe here?
Exactly what I was wondering, should have nothing to do with the problem.

I have a problem that when I try to open `music` from the start menu or from windows explorer a page will open for a split second then immediately close , at the same point the task bar will dissapear then reload as if it has had a crash of sum sort .

This has also happeneds when trying to delete files I no longer need from `downloads` I get the same problem . Any help with this would be greatly appreciated .

Where did this music come from? A cd you added to the pc library? Limewire?

Through "start orb", click Control Panel.
click users
Depending on your setup, you'll have an option to "create user" or to manage users. You should be able to create the new account through here.

To be honest, this problem doesn't seem to have anything to do with "administrative privileges" so I would just create any account, login and test the action. explorer.exe process is specific to the user accounts, so if it's an explorer issue, it's easily fixed.
