Windows 7 ROW DVD

I was just wondering why my Windows 7 Ultimate DVD casing has "Win Ult 7 English ROW DVD" stated on the side of it as well as "Made in USA". I live in the UK, but I bought Windows 7 very cheaply off eBay. It claimed on the eBay page that this is a UK version of the software but appears to be for the rest of the world. I haven't tried it yet but is this the same for all copies of Windows 7 purchased in the UK? And will it work?

ROW stands for "Rest Of World"

Due to an EU ruling there was going to be a Europe only version of W7 that was without Internet Explorer.

This requirement was relaxed by the EU commission (probably when they realised they were making fools of themselves) and the version of W7 available, at least in the UK, is the same as anywhere else - even so, the box is marked ROW.
