Removing the Windows 7 Explorer Address Bar

    Hello,

I'm trying to completely remove the address bar in Windows 7 when exploring files. I've spent the better part of the day looking for a way to do this with no luck. I've found the NoNavBar and the NoAddressBar registry tweaks, but those appear to only work for older versions of windows, and I've found a way to disable breadcrumbs, but I want to remove the bar completely. Does anyone know of the registry tweak or file I would need to edit in order to remove this completely? In Windows XP it was as simple as unchecking the Address Bar box at the top.

    Blessings.

    Hey,

Not quite. I'm trying to get rid of the bar right above that. The one that normally has breadcrumbs, or has C:\blah blah blah in it.

    Blessings.

Oh my apologies, I miss-read your first post; I'm not seeing a tutorial to do that; keep checking back as someone may come along at any time with an answer for you.
