Why My Win7 start menu doesn't have the drop shadow

HI, All

As you can see from the attached screen shot, Any one can help to figure out why my Win7 start menu doesn't have the drop shadow? I'm using ThinkPad T500 with Window 7 Professional.

Ah, Thanks. The reason why I'm asking is that I saw some Win7 screen shots on the net that show start menus have the drop shadow.
