How to suppress "Shortcut to ..." when creating a short

Is there a way to tell Win7 NOT to prepend automatically a "shortcut to" when I create a shortcut to an existing file?

This was possible in WinXP. So I guess it is possible in Win7 too.

But how exactly?

Peter

Hello Peter,

This tutorial can help show you how to not have the "shortcut" extension on the name anymore.
