Again, you can do what I did. Download and make the backup with this. You can back up on DVD's a lot cheaper than an external hard drive but a bigger pain, too.

Okay, thank you very much for your help! I'll look into it.

Maybe it's also because I worry too much that I have fears of something happening, heh.

There is no perfect method, but in my opinion, the additional adm account, proper maintenance, the hard drive back up, a good antivirus and the use of malwarebytes, you will be ok.

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware : Malwarebytes

As far as being concerned, we are both the same in that respect, so I understand.

Thank you very much for the information and the links! I'll bookmark this and keep it all in mind for when/if I get the time to do it.

The person who first made me worried explained to me that he actually meant to not change the password in the hidden admin account. They explained that I can do whatever I want in the regular admin user account but not the hidden one.

Now that you explained in a little more detail, I agree. The hidden Admin account is an emergency use account. You change it, and use it as little as possible.

Enter Network Password: win7 to win7 networking
Yes, yet another question about the "network password" issue with Win7 networking. This has nothing to do with Win7-winxp networking, as most of the questions related to this subject (from google) appear to be. This is an issue of 1 single win7 installation being unable to connect to...
