    In the event that you have those Seagates set in raid, check this out:

    TweakXP.com - Incorrect Tweak Enable Large System Cache

    That may just be XP, but unless I learned otherwise, I would consider it still valid.

    You're talking about an old "XP Pro" registry tweak...

    HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control
    \Session Manager\Memory Management
    DWORD "LargeSystemCache" =1

    I wouldn't bother doing it...on a win 7

    Unless you're in a very particular condition in a corporation, you shouldn't enable this.
