To Mods - email notifications of Threads - Help please

Hi Mods (or others who can help)

perhaps there is a way to do it but I haven't found it yet.

It's great being notified by email of answers / updates to threads but is there any way so that you just get ONE email rather than an email every time a thread is answered.

If you are away for a few hours and you have "instant notification" on for a thread like Windows RC then next time you open your email there's zillion of emails from that thread.

There might be away to do this ( I don't want to turn the whole feature off) but I couldn't see it in the FAQS about how to do it.

Thanks.
Cheers
jimbo

Hi Jimbo,

If you go to your user control panel and expand the all subscribed threads section there are various options available as to what if any notification you get on a thread by thread basis.

In the settings you can set your overall default for new subscriptions.

Have a play I'm sure you'll be able to find a workable solution

Options are ...

None
Weekly
Daily
Instant

You can also delete subscriptions if required

change the notifications to "daily digest" and you will receive one emai per day with all notifications for that day.
