I would test a lot of things with it and I will use it as a TV cause I have a TV tuner.

How true. Nowadays the neighborhoods are online and virtual.
And as a song says: Sad But True.

I think without connectivity i would focus more in video editing or maybe finish my half-written songs.

Do what I did in the very early 90's, play DooM and ROTT, HeXeN, and many others.

It might be time to pull out DooM3 and give that a go on this newest Hardware (if it will run with the newest drivers). Maybe even replay Half-life 2 episodes.

There is always Just Cause 2 , which btw is a really fun game , (yes it has some issues, but over all, very very fun Farcry2 meets GTA3 style game)

Well, I guess I'd have to go out and buy half a dozen TV sets 'cause nobody in my family has one.
Smart family. I have not watched TV in years. Why pay for commercials.
Maybe not too smart, but almost all of the TV that I do watch is from the internet. I disconnected my cable TV, because I didn't want to pay for something that I didn't use. I just bought a HDTV which I have connected to an antenna for terresterial signals, so I guess that I could get by without the internet, but it wouldn't be much fun.

That's exactly what I suspected. Without the internet we all could have a life again. But with the internet we are typing mummies.

Without Internet Connectivity I'd do the same what I do now and that is
    1. Read ebooks
    2. Play Games
    3. Design Books (Adobe Indesign), Audio Editing (Audition)
    4. Accounts (Tally)
    5. Office Work (MS-Office)

Internet is for me just for reservations(Ticket Bookings), surfing, sending mails and chatting, online shopping nothing else, although I'll miss all these things but it'll not make me crazy or paralize my life not having the connectivity. :)

Whenever my internet connection is down, I just shut down my pc and lay down on the bed till it comes back, even if it took days, seriously, once my internet was down for a week, I spent that whole week in bed, only got off it to use the bathroom and eat.

I have zillions of things to do on the computer without the internet, plenty of tv shows to watch, hundreds of games to play, but if there is no internet, I just don't feel like turning on the computer at all..

Internet connectivity here in South Africa no fun, as the lines drop often, and the cap limits are no good for gaming. So I know from a certain perspective what it means to go without internet. I often buy additional 1GB connections (larger caps or even uncapped is too expensive) just to get back online.

Usually when I'm without internet, I play games (Diablo II mostly), or programming. This helps to pass the time until the lines are back up or I can get another connection.
