    Help me! My laptop can not Hibernate.


    Hi everybody!
    I have just setup win7. I turn hibernate on.
    But when I click hibernate button, it just Switchuser.
    I don't understand why it happen to me.
    Please help me!

    Let's try a little test. Set the lid close action in Advanced Power Options to Hibernate.

    Then instead of clicking on Hibernate from the start menu, shut your lid.

    Where did you get your copy of Windows 7? Did you do a clean install or an upgrade from Vista?

    I clean install and version is Windows 7 Ultimate build 7100

    Build 7100 is the Release Candidate, which has expired. I encourage you to buy the final version. That may resolve your problems.
