Lockout a User for 10 minutes after SUCCESSFUL login

    Hi there,

I'm working on a system to allow users to login for a short period of time, but then after they have logged out, to prevent them from logging back in for 10 minutes (this is to allow other users to use the PC, and that the same user is not hogging it by logging back in straight away), so wondering if it is possible?

I know you can use Group Policy to set Account lockout settings, but these only apply if the user was NOT successful in logging in. I need a way of setting the lockout settings so that once a user has logged out, they cannot log back into the same PC for 10 minutes.

    Any help would be appreciated?

I think you would need some sort of third party software for this. I dont understand also. Is this a server/network login, or are these all individual accounts DIRECTLY on the computer?

Thanks for your reply, its an open access area with PCs which we plan on giving timed access for. So users should have the ability to logon for 30 mins or so, but when they logout, we do not want the same user to be able to log back into the same pc for ten minutes (this is so that other users get the chance to use that pc, and so the same user does not hog the same machine by logging back in as soon as their time is up)

The accounts logging in would be domain accounts, so I would not want their AD account to be locked out, but just prevent them for logging onto the same inidvidual pc for a short time so others can use it.

I understand what you are trying to do, but are these user accounts installed directly onto the harddrive or are they network accounts?
