Cannot Delete A File...

    Cannot Delete A File...


    I wanted to delete a file but I got the below message....
    Cannot Delete A File...-capture.png

    I went to Properties then Security, I got this...
    Cannot Delete A File...-capture2.jpg

    I've tried that Take Ownership but still cannot delete it...

    Can someone help me pls...

    UPDATE
    I have successfully deleted the file in the folder... BUT now I can't open the folder!!!

    Hello Shw09, and welcome to Seven Forums.

    In addition, you might see if restarting the computer may have it go away for you in case it's just a ghost file.

    You could also see if you may be able to delete the file from within a command prompt.

    File - Delete from Command Prompt

    Thx for ur suggestions, but it seems what ever I click I get an error message saying that they cannot find this file.

    Did you try the command prompt at boot to delete it?

    Open Computer, navigate to C:\Users\Shw\Downloads. Is the file you are trying to delete there or not.

    or ...

    Click the Start Orb, type cmd and press Enter
    Type cd \Users\Shw\Downloads and press Enter
    Type dir and press Enter

    Is the file there?
