    Locks under my icons?

For the sake of not raping margins, I will just give you the link..

I find this VERY weird, because it does not affect my Starcraft 2 Beta icon, RA3, Steam icons and a few at the bottom.

This is the first time I have ever seen this, I tried clicking the icon and going to security but nothing looks different.

The lock icon means not shared, private. You only have access, or so it is said.
If the lock is on individual files like that it means the root folder's permissions were altered.

Hi, probably a good place to start is with a system restore.

Please post back with your results.

But I have no other accounts on my computer, how would the permissions be changed to another user?

I will try a system restore.

Not another user...to all users if they exists or not. The lock icon only appears on the root folder none of the files or child folders. Except if the root folder's permissions were altered while the children of the folder did not have there permissions altered. In simple terms, everyone could access the root folder "Desktop" but only you can access the files stored within it. That is what the lock means, only you.
