Colors off in Win 7, fixed but now back

I have a problem with colors like when I'm viewing a picture in my pictures the color of the "white" around the photo, not in the photo are not white. It's something with a settings in windows 7 and I fixed it at one point, but I think now I've reinstalled Nvidia drivers and what not it's back.

does anyone know what I'm referring to and can link me to the fix?

    Thanks1

Since the problem is very current, why not try a simple system restore a few days before the problem began?

If it is an old problem, SR would not be applicable. Guess, we have to do it the old fashioned way. Start with this, a lot of helpful suggestions. I think it will just be a settings adjustment.

I appreciate you trying to help, but there was something in Windows 7 that was a default setting that was causing this.

it was a simple setting change that solved the problem.. I don't need to calibrate the monitor. but thanks for trying to help
