    Is it safe to do this?


    Im still running windows 7 build 7077, I would like to use ,my BIOS and get more video ram to my video card, the options are 64 and 256, im currently running 64, i have 512 RAM, a 1.4 ghz proccessor, is it safe to do this or am i going to epicly mess up the entire system?

    Safe, yes. Recommended, no. The os needs that memory since you have so little.

    I agree, you would be sacrifising half your memory & the lag/slowdown would be too much.

I have been getting killed by some virus i have removed twice now. As with some virus' it deletes my restore points in sys restore. So what i want to do is create a new restore point save a safe copy of it somewhere else like on a different drive so that if this happens again i can drop the file...
