    Program files (x86) not showing !


    Hi everyone,

    I'm having a problem that my installed programs from the folder "program files (x86)" do NOT show up in my start menu under "all programs". I've googled this problem, and seen several people having this bug, but none solutions at the moment.

    Any of you have an idea what could be causing this ?

    PS to be clear, only some programs are not showing from this folder (started a few days ago) - the older ones that were installed are still showing.

    Welcome,

    If it is a bug, there is nothing that we can do to correct the situation from happening again until MS issues a fix. Until then, why not try a system restore and see if it makes things good, again.

    I recommend a work-around for the time being, Go into your Program Files folder and pin .exe files to the Start Menu for now.
