    Open File Location-Start Menu-Windows 7?

    Hi all.

In vista you could open a files location from the start menu by right clicking it.But in windows 7 i cant.Is there a way to enable it.Or does anyone know the string for regedit so i can add it?..

As you can see the screen-shot below.

    Thanks

Hello RiZoR6666, welcome to Seven Forums!

If clicking "open" in the right click option doesn't open the program, try to delete the entry and then add it again to see if that will do it.

    Hello RiZoR,

    Welcome to Seven Forums.

Sorry I don't know how to add that to the rt. click menu, but as you may know, there is a button for that on the shortcut properties dialog box.

    Hope that helps.

Hello RiZor, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You should be able to press and hold Shift and right click on it to have these options instead.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn
