    Hello RJmach,

Does Computer Management open when you type in compmgmt.msc in the Start Menu search box and press enter?

Strange one. Possible file corruption? If this is a recent problem would a system restore to a previous good working state help - perhaps?

Hey Manhunter... This is actually a very frequent bug in Win7... that shortcut has gone broken on every Win7 machine I've worked on. Not to worry, there are other ways of getting at the management console as you can see...

    Ok RJ,

I found a fix for this below if you would like to use it. :)

Manage - Fix "File does not have a program associated"

You would need to first change the CompMgmtLauncher.bat back to CompMgmtLauncher.exe for the at HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}\shell\Manage\command in the registry to undo the workaround above.
