    Hello Dfcredo, and welcome to Seven Forums.

    I find the included Paint program in Windows 7 great for screenshots.

    The snipping tool works great, but you also have the open to do the usual Print Screen method, using the Print Screen button or ALT+Print Screen if you are doing the whole screen or the active window. Either option works great.

    Thanks for the suggestions. I've downloaded a trial of Snagit
    and will compare it to the snip tool program. Appreciate the help.
