Another free program for working with pics is Microsoft Office Picture Manager.

If you've MS office installed then just Start | type Picture Manager | Enter key

You'll still need to use the PrtScn or Alt+ PrtScn to capture your image, but then you can paste it into Picture Manager. Picture Manager and MS Paint offer some useful options.

I haven't opposed you . I just said that I was aware of a lot of functions that IrfanView performs, but this function was unknown to me. Actually I an not a regular IrfanView user. MS paint, GIMP, etc are known to me.

Yes, I wasn't being retaliatory, just pointing out another of its functions. Apologies if i inferred otherwise.
