    Secondary taskbar

    Hi all,

Is there a way i can setup a second taskbar to use on my extended desktop???

I would like greater control over the second screen rather than having drag items/apps over to it & then play with them.

    Any ideas

Dual Monitors: Dual-Monitor Taskbar, Dual-Monitor Task Switcher and Other Multi-Monitor Enhancements something like that? Not sure if it works with windows 7 as I havent tried it. Unfortunately theres no way to do this natively.

Another program you could try is DisplayFusion: Multi-Monitor Taskbar and Desktop Wallpaper | Binary Fortress Software

Although (as i've just tried), you can move the task bar to the other display. It's quite weird really

    Here's the scoop.

The first app (i've not tried the second) is quite good. Although the start menu is set up like the 'Show Desktop' icon. It does, however, cause graphical clitches on the extended desktop when using media players (any) but it could just be my GFX.

First impressions: I'm impressed, they need to just create 1 for Vista/Seven as even the website makes me think it's designed for XP.

    Well found...

Additional: Running an app from the 2nd screen opens up in the 1st shame

    Windows 7 Multi-Monitor Taskbar...

I've used Ultramon but, on Windows 7 it looks like complete sh!t...

At the moment, I'm in the process of creating my own multi-monitor taskbar for exclusive use on Windows 7. For those of you that might be interested, I'll post here again when the beta is completed.
