when you right click on the start orb did it always say 'open windows explorer'?
    or is it new?
Yes it's been there for a while now but I don't think it was in build 7000.

Still got no option to remove glass in maximised windows.
This is a real bummer. It means I've got to switch to 'auto-hide taskbar' when having long Photoshop/Lightroom/Illustrator sessions.

I cant see any changes yet and I think this build is a bit slower on my rig considering going back to 7077, gotta say I was hoping for better from the RC!

My Microsoft MCE Remote only partly works now using MediaPortal. Not done anything different from build 7077, and it worked on that! So back to my main install of 7077 for now.

    Very, very fast install.
i remember installing 7000 for good 15-20 minutes while i literally installed w7 under 10 minutes from 8gb ntfs usb stick as fresh install, most time took the setup is starting or something, while copying got done instantly and expanding files went smoothly in 2 minute or so, fastest install i've ever seen.

EDIT: Also driver signature enforcement thingy is gone?`or why can i run rivatuner just normally, while @ 7077 it always asked for disabling it.

I don't know of this has already been talked about but one change in Windows update settings......there is an option I think has changed from 7077. It's the one about which users can install updates. I don't believe that was there before. There are some other changes in Windows update too. If someone has them both running, check it out.

    Hi Anthony,

Interesting. How did you manage to pin the Control Panel to the taskbar? I can't seem to get it to pin to the taskbar unless I use the option here, but that option doesn't have the Recent items for it either like you have in your screenshot.

i pinned it by opening the control panel and the right clicking the icon and then 'pin this program to taskbar'
