window update question ??????

    window update question ??????


    hi. i have 2 hard drive in my computer .
    one for vista and one for window 7 .
    now am not doing dual boot .
    what i do is i turn my pc off and i change the red cable from drive to drive .
    but the thing is i am using vista all the time .
    so how often do i have to use window 7 to update the window update .
    is one time a week is it good .

    I would think that would suffice as I have not seen an update in a little while.
    Doing it everyday while not using it is just gonna create too much unnecessary work in my opinion. Can't really hurt, but just might get annoying constantly checking for updates that aren't there. Just a thought.

    If you're not using it, you don't need to update. I'd recommend updating the day before you plan on using the OS or once every few weeks.

    thank you .
    this is all i wanted to know .
    me i do prefer vista i have using it since 2007 .
    window 7 is ok .but i have a problem finding all the stuff that i use in vista .
    but i did use it about 2 weeks .till i installed vista on a new drive [250] w-7 is on a new 500 drive .that should a been reverse .lol .
    ha well i kind a late now .
    my pc crash on me so i had to replace every thing .cust 366.00 not the mobo .all the rest.
