Computer Management Console will not load

    I ran the System File Checker. This is the failure I got in the log file.

    Obviously it's related to the MMC. Any suggestions or will I have to do a repair with the installation disc?

    Hello Kevin,

    I guess it quiet hard to fix certain dll the best and effective way to fix it would be to do a Repair install. If i were you i would do the Repair install.

    Capt. Jack,

    My brother, who has the same version of Windows, sent me his mmcbase.dll file. Swapped it out and it's all good! Thanks for putting me in the right direction!!!
