Im pretty sure RC1 would have more "RC1" markings within the OS. I cant say what is and what is not, but I do believe, what comes out from MS, will have differences than what this build contains

Are you pleased with the official beta Jacee? I can't say I like the way it has been running, only one official beta, being 7000, exactly the same as the public.

I've found that the majority of feedback has been ignored or dismissed very quickly.
Having been on the Windows Early Feedback program I had high hopes this time round, but virtually none of that has made it in either.

I hope we're right PotatoMan83, the fact that the new themes for other countries that were leaked of late aren't there, makes me a little dubious.
I honestly expectd more eye candy for the RC build to really wow the public.
7 for the most part has been perfect for me stability and performance wise, and for that reason alone, I would never go back to Vista.
I just think that if MS were to pile a new icon set, more themes (I might be in the UK but the Cananda theme is well good!), new screensavers, new visualizations and possibly even folders that don't look like stale custard... On top of this already solid base, then we'd have a total winner ready to go.

Who would know what RC is until released officially..thats my question..too many thngs leading to believe there has been nothing significant to see this as RC1

Dazeon, I've been using Beta 7000 since January as my main OS. I've been very pleased except that a couple of my programs haven't kept up with it... I know once it's going to be accepted as an *official release*, ready for the public to buy , they will catch up

I can't say that I'm please with the way this testing has been run. I look at all the Beta testers posts and replies ... who have been so loyal since Win95 and I'm so sorry for the way this one has turned out. I think they have a lot to complain about, and rightfully so.
