    Just clarify for me do you want to install to the 60 or the 20gig partition

    When you have your files on the 20gig partition, yes you would be doing a clean install, just incase I have missunderstood, you can also do it the other way around.
    My experience would say in this case to install to the bigger partition.

    yea im installing to the 60 gig. i created the 20gb so my media files will show up in ubuntu.

    i left 30gb to install it to when the download finishes.
