    Windows search

When I search I wish the search to include ALL directories (including, for example, drivers) and all files under C:. I realize that the entire computer is not indexed and that is fine since most times I do not need the result right that moment. Is there a way to reset the Windows search default in this way?

Note: After you search once in Explorer, you'll receive a link at the bottom that allows you to search again in any location (click Custom).

    Read these tutorials please:

Index Locations - Add or Remove

Search Options - Change or Restore

    Search in Windows 7
Start Menu - Add Libraries to Search in Start Menu
