    Windows 7 RC Expiration

Will the expiration date change for the W7 RC? Build 7100 shows 3/1/2010.

    Hello Oneextraid,

Rumor is that the 7100 build is the RC version, so the expiration date may not change. I suppose we'll know for sure when the official RC is released on 4/30/2009 for MSDN and TechNet subscribers, and 5/5/2009 for the public. The RTM Windows 7 will probably be releaseed by 3/01/2010 anyways though. Hopefully. :)

I would wait until those of us who are waiting for the official release report back what we find.

Technet Plus members should have it on 30 April and the rest by 5 May.

I see from the many reports from people who have downloaded torrent versions all is not what it should be and at least one person has reported that although the build is labelled 7100, in fact it is 7077, another wondered why everything is in Russian in an "English" version....it goes on.

Well good luck. I too will be trying the upgrade route. I'm trying to avoid having to set too many things up all over again.
