Download FileMenu Tools – Customize Windows Explorer easily | Windows Reference
Then right click on your Contacts folder, choose 'attributes', and uncheck 'hidden', if it's checked.

    Missing Contacts Folder

    Jacee

Thanks for contributing and trying to solve my problem! I am not a techie or developer, just a basic user and therefore nervous about about downloading tools and changing registry entries, etc. Which element of the tool you recommend would I use if I downloaded it?

I have followed Brink's advice and reset the default file folder location for Contacts with his tutorial. My current issue is that despite this and several restarts, I cannot see or find any evidence of a Contacts folder. Therefore there is nothing I can right-click on to display attributes, etc. Any ideas?

    Cheers
    Brendan
