Preview pane under navigation menu

Hi. Is it possible to place preview pane (only preview window not details) under navigation menu?

It's default in XP.

In Win 7 the preview pane shows whatever option you choose in View albeit Details, List, Tiles etc. This is considered an improvement over XP where you only get the preview you are looking for in Tile mode. There are lots of changes like this in Win 7 compared to XP but generally they are an improvement. It would be nigh impossible to incorporate all the things we liked about XP into Win7. There was a lot of good things in 95 and 98, not to mention Windows 3.1

Hello Bernard,

Sorry, but previews have been removed from the Navigation pane in Vista and Windows 7.

In addition to turning on the Preview pane (right pane now) to see all previews, you can also see previews of images in the Details pane.

Hope this helps,
Shawn
