Win7 system or monitor not wake from sleep, solved?

    Initial Display First - to "PCI" - assuming you have a PCIe 16 or 8 card, this will force the BIOS to go searching for your card rather than trying the correct one first and for whatever reason, "not finding it".

    I had a similar problem. It would be worth checking that your monitor isnt confused about whether it is receiving an analog or digital signal from the display card:
