    File move problem

I've been using Windows forever. But, recently, in Windows Explorer, when I MOVE a file, the listing in the right panel doesn't update. It has always automatically removed the file that was just moved.
Yes, I can refresh, and I do, but there must be a setting that got changed.
    How do I fix this?
    Thanks!

    Hello Newmarktet,

You might see if restarting the computer may help if it's just a a simple refresh glitch.

If not, then try uninstalling and reinstalling your graphics driver.

    Hope this helps for now,
    Shawn

    No promises...

    In REGEDIT, path to
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control

In the left panel right click on Control and create a new key "Update"
Click on the new key and in the right panel right click and create a new DWORD value
    named "UpdateMode"
Right click on "UpdateMode" and set it's value to 1

    Hope this helps...

NOTE: Messing with the registry is not something you do lightly. There is much potential for disaster in carelessly changing system settings.
