    Regedit question

    Hi,
I have Win7 Home Prem running on 64bit HP Desktop. I was trying to checkout a string in the HKey_Classes_Root\inkfile. I think I erred by going down and selecting .ink instead of using find; somehow I missed the find option. Anyway, when I click on .ink it puts it over in the large window under Name, Type, Data. I get the option to Modify binary data, Delete or Rename. What I am trying to do is close that .ink and clear it from the Name, Type, Data area.

Tried that, it doesn't do anything. Any other suggestions?

See that big red square with the X in it at the top right of the window?

Seriously... the TAB key switches from left to right panes for you.

Found the answer to my problem. There is a tiny pc at the top of the column that closes it.
